The magnet manufacturer tells you what is the normal working temperature of the magnet?
The magnet has no effect on the temperature drop when working, and is more sensitive to the temperature rise. Each magnet has its own maximum temperature. For example, the maximum working temperature of ferrite magnets is 300 degrees, and the maximum working temperature of alloy magnets such as neodymium iron boron, samarium cobalt magnets, and alnico magnets can reach 500 degrees. AlNiCo magnet is an alloy of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron and other trace metals. After casting can be processed into a variety of different sizes and shapes, the processability is very good. AlNiCo permanent magnets have the lowest reversible temperature coefficient, and the maximum operating temperature can be as high as 600 degrees Celsius. alnico magnet

AlNiCo magnets are widely used in various instruments and other areas with high temperature.
2. NdFeB magnet is the magnet with the highest commercial performance, commonly known as the magnetic king, with very high magnetic properties, and the maximum magnetic energy product (BHmax) is more than 10 times higher than the ferrite magnet (Ferrite). The machining performance of NdFeB is also very good. Only the working temperature is lower than that of AlNiCo magnet, the maximum is 200 degrees Celsius. Because the NdFeB magnet is hard, the magnetic performance is stable, the cost performance is very high, and the application is extremely wide. Because the chemical activity of NdFeB alloy is very strong, the NdFeB magnet must be protected by coating on its surface. (Such as plating, nickel plating, gold plating, silver plating, electrophoretic epoxy resin, etc.).
SmCo magnets are divided into SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 according to the composition. Because of its high price of raw materials, its popularization and application are limited. Samarium cobalt (SmCo) as a rare earth permanent magnet, and very high magnetic energy product (14-28MGOe), extremely stable coercivity and good temperature characteristics. Compared with neodymium iron boron magnets, samarium cobalt magnets are more suitable for working in high temperature environments.
4. Ferrite magnet its main raw materials include BaFe12O19 and SrFe12O19. Ferrite magnets are made by ceramic technology, the texture is hard and brittle, because ferrite magnets have good temperature resistance, low price, moderate performance, is a very wide range of early applications of permanent magnets.
