Development of Magnetic Tile for Permanent Magnet Motor

The development of magnet motor magnetic tile is changed according to the demand of permanent magnet motor itself. 1) Permanent magnet motors are divided into permanent magnet DC motors and permanent magnet AC motors. 1.1 permanent magnet AC motor refers to a multi-phase synchronous motor with a permanent magnet rotor. In the past, ferrite and AlNiCo magnetic tiles were mainly used. As the power requirements became higher and higher, ferrite and AlNiCo were due to the magnetic energy product. Low can not meet the requirements, and now NdFeB magnetic tiles are widely used in the field of high-power synchronous motors and generators. Of course, NdFeB magnetic tile, because of the precious rare earth resources, raw material prices doubled, its manufacturing costs and production prices will continue to rise in the future, affecting its in some low-end collar

Of course, NdFeB magnetic tile, because rare earth resources are precious, the price of raw materials has doubled, and its manufacturing cost and production price will continue to increase in the future, affecting its large-scale use in some low-end fields. The negative temperature coefficient of the NdFeB permanent magnet itself, the low Curie temperature, also limits the application of its high temperature occasions.

1.2 permanent magnet DC motor is divided into brushless motor and commutator ordinary DC motor, from the shape of the magnet, the number of poles to determine its application. In ordinary DC motors, 2 poles and 4 poles are mostly used, and magnetic tiles are basically used as motor stators. Most miniature DC motors use ferrite magnetic tiles, which are mainly used in toys, home appliances, and automobiles. Brushless motor with magnetic tile as the stator, generally more than 6 poles, so its central angle is much smaller than the ordinary DC motor with magnetic tile. However, when the magnet is used as the rotor of a brushless motor, it can have more than 4 or 6 poles. For 4 poles, the rotor is magnetized on the outer surface, and because it is necessary to form a circle, its central angle is close to 90 °, which can be distinguished from ordinary DC motors.

2) The magnetic tile has different requirements on performance and magnetic field waveform according to different application fields. As a rotor field, its outer arc surface has high requirements and the basic waveform is sine wave. As a stator, it is selected according to the different requirements of motor output, spark and noise to make the magnetic tile of the stator. Its inner arc surface field is high, which is determined by the shape and production characteristics of the magnetic tile itself, its waveform is mainly saddle-shaped, this type of waveform output is large, but the spark noise, no-load current is large. In order to improve the vibration and noise, commutation spark, reduce no-load current, the shape and size of magnetic steel, mold design, etc. should be carefully designed, among which unequal thickness magnetic tiles have been widely used, the principle is to make the magnetic tile inner arc air gap magnetic field waveform trend flat top wave.
