The twelfth process of magnet production process: magnetizing

Magnet magnetizing, as the name implies, is to magnetize the magnetic material or increase the magnetism of the magnet with insufficient magnetism. Generally, a magnetic object to be magnetized is placed in a strong magnetic field formed by a coil through which direct current passes, and the magnetic field in the magnet is catalyzed by an external magnetic field. At present, there are two kinds of magnetizing machines, constant current magnetizing machine and pulse magnetizing machine. A. At present, there are two kinds of magnetizing machines, constant current magnetizing machine and pulse magnetizing machine.
A. The working principle of the constant current magnetizing machine: The constant current direct current passes through the coil to make the coil generate a constant magnetic field. Suitable for magnetizing low coercive force permanent magnetic materials, such as ferrite, low coercive force neodymium iron boron.
B. The working principle of the pulse magnetizing machine: The instantaneous pulse high current passes through the coil to make the coil generate a short-term super magnetic field. Suitable for high coercivity permanent magnet materials or complex multi-pole magnetizing occasions. It is widely used in permanent magnet material production and application enterprises, suitable for magnetization of various permanent magnet material parts and components, such as: AlNiCo series, ferrite series, rare earth permanent magnet series, etc., with high efficiency and reliability. The equipment has no special requirements for the power supply configuration of the work site, and is convenient and flexible to use.

Pulse magnetizing specifically, the capacitor is first charged with a DC high voltage voltage, and then discharged through a coil with a very small resistance. The peak value of the discharge pulse current can reach tens of thousands of amperes. This current pulse generates a strong magnetic field in the coil, which permanently magnetizes the hard magnetic material placed in the coil. When the capacitor of the magnetizing machine works, the peak value of the pulse current is extremely high, and the performance of the capacitor to withstand the impact current is very high. The magnetizing machine has a relatively simple structure. In fact, it is an electromagnet with extremely strong magnetic force. It is equipped with iron blocks of various shapes as additional magnetic poles to form a closed magnetic circuit with the magnetized magnet. When magnetizing, the additional magnetic poles and the magnetized magnet are arranged, and the magnetized magnet can be completed in an instant as long as the excitation current is added.

The magnetization directions of the circular or ring magnets include axial, radial, multi-stage, and radiation magnetization.
